Beyond All Reason is a large-scale real-time strategy game: build an economy, scale up a base and send hundreds of units into battle. It is completely free. Our group mostly plays co-op against the bots. It is relaxed, it is loud in voice chat, and nobody minds if you are still learning.

The Factions
Armada
Mobility, versatility and stealth. Relies on direct firepower more than artillery.
Cortex
Overwhelming firepower, tough frontline units and conventional artillery. Siege warfare is its specialty.
Legion
Cheap, easily mass-produced units backed by a few stronger specialists. Still experimental, so it can change between updates.

PvE: Us vs the Bots
AI skirmish
Team up against computer opponents. Good for learning and for a laid-back night.
Raptors
Hold out together against escalating waves of alien Raptors.
Scavengers
Take on a rogue machine faction that attacks in growing waves.
We pick the mode on the night. Occasionally we split into teams for PvP; if you'd rather stay on the bots, just say so.
Friday Night BAR Fight
Official nights are posted as a Discord event. In-between Fridays are informal: check Discord on the day.
New to BAR?
- Download Beyond All Reason for free from beyondallreason.info (Windows and Linux).
- Create your account in the launcher and try a skirmish against the AI to learn the basics.
- Join our Discord and mark yourself Interested on the Friday event.
- On the night, hop into the FridayNight BAR FIGHT! voice channel and we'll get you into the game.
